So, what exactly did her fans notice different about her? What did she do or seem to be doing that wasn't like her at all? While performing in front of such a large live audience, she was to sing two of her most recent songs.

Her first song, she performed, 'Lose You to Love Me'. While performing this, her fans who were watching from home went to social media to determine what was wrong with her. Gomez seemed really nervous and everyone noticed. Many of her so-called fans posted about how she was so nervous and how they could tell it in her voice.

Her fans thought that maybe because of the song itself, which was the one she wrote after she and Justin Bieber broke up, maybe she was getting emotional. They also felt her nerves were getting the best of her. One thing to note about Gomez is that her live performance at the AMAs tonight was the first time she had performed live in front of so many people since 2017, so in two years.

Many people were hard on her on social media because of her nerves acting up. However, those who understood about her nerves were quick to stand up for her to everyone else.

In fact, one Twitter user tweeted saying,

"Selena Gomez was nervous that's all, it's been years since she last performed live, you try singing in front of thousands of people you don't have to like her voice but at least respect her."

Another Twitter user also stood up for her with this tweet,

"You could see on her face during the first song she was extremely nervous. Take note, she hasn't performed on a stage this big since 2017."

Although everyone was talking about her nerves acting up because of her not performing in so long in front of a live audience. she had this to say to Ryan Seacrest.

"It's also more beautiful for me because I know exactly where I was when I wrote it and how I felt. Absolutely not. That wouldn't have happened. It took me a long time to get through it. But, now it's fun! I'm smiling! It's so great."

Everyone can agree that Gomez did start out nervous but once she got to her next song, 'Look at Her Now', she made up for all of that nervousness from the first song with being the amazing singer that she is and always has been.

It seemed like when she was singing the slow song, about her breakup with Bieber, that was when she was most nervous. However, once she got to the more upbeat song, 'Look at Her Now', her nerves seemed to disappear.

Everyone was cheering for her o her nervousness seemed to go away, on social media. One user tweeted:

"So proud of you! I know you were nervous in the beginning but you did a great and it was awesome seeing you on stage again. Love you Selena Gomez!"
