Selena Gomez exuded boss energy while out in New York City this weekend amid the cloudy early-spring weather.

The actor and singer went out for a late dinner at celebrity-loved hotspot Carbone on Sunday, and for the occasion, wrapped herself up in the coolest floor-length trench. The black faux leather coat has a sharp collar and black buttons, and it hails from model Elsa Hosk’s fashion label, Helsa. The brand, which Hosk launched in late 2022, has released various It girl pieces since its debut that have instantly gone viral, like the romantic transparent white dress once worn by Kendall Jenner, and the chic black slipdress with a white rosette that Elle Fanning stepped out in for a date night.

Gomez layered her bold outerwear (which retails for $598) over a black top and breezy black trousers, and she finished her look with pointy black leather boots. As for accessories, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer carried a glossy black square-shaped bag and added on some round silver shades with red ombre lenses, plus some dainty gold jewelry. She had her brown hair slicked back into a side-parted bun, with side-swept bangs swishing over her face.

Gomez’s all-black outfit offered a sharp contrast to her look on Saturday, which was monochrome pink. She wore the ensemble—a flirty button-up dress with a matching wool coat and pointy heels—to an event celebrating her cosmetic brand Rare Beauty’s new blush collection held at Manhattan’s Studio 525.
