She (or her social media team) posted a behind-the-scenes video from the set of the Hulu series and tagged the show’s official Instagram account in the caption along with the words, “Missing and wanted.” According to Variety, the post was up for 15 hours before it was finally deleted from Gomez’s account. While SAG-AFTRA has not given a statement about the possible infraction, some of her fans explained what they think they happened with the social media post.

“That’s kinda confusing, she only said she was missing the program, why would that characterize as promoting something? It’s a serious question,” one account queried on Twitter. Another graciously added, “She made a small mistake, it happens.” However, others weren’t quite as forgiving since the post managed to garner over 1.1 million likes in the time it was up. “She knew damn well what she was doing,” a Twitter user wrote. And of course, many accounts tagged the actors’ union to make sure they saw the infraction. “@sagaftra black list her pls,” wrote a Justin and Hailey Bieber fan account.
