Selena Gomez Confirms She Is a Single Lady
Selena Gomez's relationship seems to always be a topic of conversations because of her music. Her song, "Lose You To Love Me" brought the conversation back to her childhood flame, Justin Bieber. A recent reunion with another ex-boyfriend caused speculation that she might be jumping back into the dating pool but on Wednesday, Gomez confirmed she's still single.
Gomez shared a statement on her Instagram story after rumors that she rekindled her alleged relationship with fashion Executive Samuel Krost. "I am not dating anyone. I've been single for two years. I'm on Gods timing not mine," Selena wrote.

On Tuesday, photos circulated of Selena grabbing a bite to eat at La Esquina restaurant in New York City with Krost. Gomez and Krost were rumored to be dating back in November 2015 after they were photographed holding hands. The allegedly dated for several months but broke up in 2016. Krost allegedly posted about his break up with the star a few months later. "Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel," Krost said in a post that has since been deleted.
Selena appeared on "The Zach Sang Show" earlier this week and she also addressed her relationship status there. The star said she is "super, super single." During the interview, Selena noted that she was happy her album took so long because she got the inspiration for her two new singles within the past year. "It was four years," Selena said referencing her album. "I was gonna release it two years ago and I'm so glad I didn't because I wouldn't have half the material I have now."
Selena released "Lose You To Love Me" on October 22 and then released "Look At Her Now" the very next day. The growth of Gomez as an artist can be seen between the two songs and they make an interesting juxtaposition. The first song is essentially about a broken heart and the realization of self-worth and the second is a triumphant anthem about overcoming the adversities of love.
Fans believe that Selena's first song is about her relationship with Justin Bieber and coincidentally, Hailey Bieber shared a picture of Summer Walker's song, "I'll Kill You" right after the song was released. Mrs. Bieber later responded by saying her post was not a response to Selena's song.
Hailey ended up showing Selena support by "liking" a photo of the singer celebrating her recent musical success. One of Selena's BFFs shared the snap where she is posing with several of her friends. Everything seems to be all good.
