See Winona Ryder in “Haunted Mansion” Deleted Scene with Owen Wilson and LaKeith Stanfield (Exclusive)

'Haunted Mansion' is on digital and Disney+ Wednesday, then on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD Oct. 17.

Haunted Mansion had even more fun that didn't make the final cut.

PEOPLE has an exclusive never-before-seen deleted scene from the Disney film, featuring LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Chase Dillon and Winona Ryder.

Haunted Mansion follows a single mother (Rosario Dawson) and her son Travis (Dillon) as they move into a New Orleans mansion in search of a new start.

Their move has a rocky start, and she quickly recruits a crew of unusual experts to help them rid the mansion's supernatural elements: tour guide Ben Matthias (Stanfield), psychic Harriet (Tiffany Haddish), priest Father Kent (Owen Wilson) and historian Bruce Davis (Danny DeVito). The film also stars Jared Leto and Jamie Lee Curtis, with cameos from Ryder and Dan Levy.

Director Justin Simien previously said he wanted to pay homage to all that was spooky and unusual about the Disney Parks attraction, leading him to enlist Ryder to join for a cameo. Simien, 40, knew the film needed someone from “the outset,” and was eager to invoke a sense of nostalgia from her brief cameo.

"Carmen Cuba, the casting director, myself and the studio were really enamored with this idea of plugging in classic faces in these cameo roles, and it just felt so right that she’d be the tour guide at the end of the movie,” the director told The Hollywood Reporter.

Simien also told Variety his time working at Disneyland was the “best summer job” he ever had. “I used to ride the Haunted Mansion on breaks," said the director. “There was something about that ride that I felt was there in the script. I wanted to be sure all the Easter eggs are there because I'm a nerd."

The upcoming at-home release of the new movie includes additional never-before-scene clips and featurettes, as well as a blooper reel.
