See the Awkward Moment That Made 'Suits' Actor Do a Spit Take on 'Today'
Gabriel Macht, star of the hit USA series Suits, stopped by the third hour of Today with Tamron Hall, Willie Geist, and Natalie Morales. While the three discussed the show, Macht was asked if he could carry over his character’s legal skills to real life. Except the wording of the question was a little… forward. “Could you get [Geist] off?”

“No, that’s weird; that’s not going to ever happen,” said Macht, casually taking a sip of his drink. The Today anchors began laughing, and all of the jubilance got Macht so worked up that he performed a spit take all over the desk. This only made Geist, Hall, and Morales laugh harder, exacerbating the already off-the-rails moment. Apparently this is the first-ever spit take on Today’s Take, the segment in which the interview was conducted. But there was another item that Macht was more concerned with, legally speaking. “You got my DNA all over your table here,” he said as the Today trio continued to laugh.
