Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell embark on a fake romance in Sony's first look at Will Gluck's upcoming rom-com, Anyone but You.

Loosely based on William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, the film follows Bea (Sweeney) and Ben (Powell), two former college classmates forced to coexist at their mutual friend's destination wedding in Australia. With the presence of their respective exes at the ceremony, the pair pretend to be a couple.

The film, written by Gluck and Ilana Wolpert, also stars Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths. Sweeney executive-produced it. Check out the first-look photo below.

At CinemaCon in Las Vegas earlier this year, the lead stars teased the dynamic of their characters, with Powell calling Sweeney's Bea "a real nightmare" and his Ben "a real a--hole."

"As you can maybe guess, this movie is about two people that hate each other," the Top Gun: Maverick star said. "And what better place to put a nightmare and an a--hole than on the other side of the world, in the most romantic setting imaginable?"

Sweeney's recent credits include the hit Max series Euphoria and the films Reality and Americana, and her upcoming projects include Marvel's Madame Web and Echo Valley. Powell has starred in the Top Gun sequel, Devotion, and Hit Man, and his next projects include Twisters and Most Dangerous Game.

Anyone but You hits theaters Dec. 22.
