See Simon Pegg Play a Contract Killer in 'Kill Me Three Times' Trailer (Exclusive)

As Scotty in the rebooted Star Trek series and his various Everymen in the Cornetto trilogy, Simon Pegg’s screen persona is benign, often self-deprecating — the kind of guy you’d have a pint with. But, in the upcoming thriller Kill Me Three Times, Pegg is far from harmless, playing an assassin for hire.

Based on this exclusive red-band trailer, Pegg’s trademark humor remains intact, as his character Charlie Wolfe pauses to take a call while in the middle of a job. After a bungled hit, however, Charlie finds himself in a web of blackmail, murder, and revenge.

Also starring Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire), and Luke Hemsworth (brother of Chris and Liam), Kill Me Three Times comes out on VOD March 26 and in theaters April 10.
