Black Widow debuted more than just major movie news this weekend – she also showed off a major sparkler.
At Comic-Con this weekend, Scarlett Johansson took the stage with her Marvel family to talk about the MCU's next phase, which includes Natasha Romanoff's first standalone film, currently filming in London.
The 34-year-old star was also wearing her engagement ring at a public event for the first time since getting engaged to "Saturday Night Live" star Colin Jost in April.
The jaw-dropping gem looked to be an egg-shaped yellow-tinted diamond set on a black band.
It will be a third marriage for Johansson, who was previously wed to "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds (2008 to 2011) and journalist Romain Dauriac (2014 to 2017), the father of her daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac, 4.
This is the first marriage for Jost, 37, who co-anchors "Weekend Update" with Michael Che.
At Comic-Con, Marvel showed a spy-tinged "Black Widow" trailer to the crowd.
Johansson told USA TODAY she has been talking about and developing a standalone movie with studio president Kevin Feige for eight years and thinks the timing couldn’t be better for her.
“I definitely feel like the film that we're making right now and this incarnation of Natasha, in all of her sort of strength and her vulnerability and the strengths she finds in her own vulnerability, is something that I don't think I could have done 10 years ago," Johansson said.
