Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz gave a private first-look at their Giants: Art from The Dean Collection exhibit held at the Brooklyn Museum on Tuesday night (Feb. 6).

Ahead of opening to the public, The Deans invited their close friends, family and more to witness the manifestations of artists of the African Diaspora.

Queen Latifah, Lil Baby, Fabolous, Tamika Mallory, Tina Knowles, Tierra Whack, Mysonne, and Tracee Ellis Ross were just a few famous faces in the room, amongst works of giants plastered all over the walls. Photos from the event show laughter, hugs, and thought provoking conversations were had, all in celebration of Black art. From canvases, photos, sculptures, metal workings. and more, the exhibit highlights the couple’s philosophy of “artists supporting artists.”

Additionally, the exhibit showcases pieces created in honor of The Deans’ union, family dynamic, and journey as musicians and cultural figures. Abstract portraits of the couple can be seen throughout the museum. Divided into different sections, the exhibit highlights the couple’s creative efforts and their perspective on the culture.

“On the Shoulders of Giants,” showcases the work of artists who “have left an indelible mark on the world,” as “Giant Conversations” explores Black social issues. Another section, “Giant Presence,” displays monumental artworks from the collection.

Giants: Art From The Dean Collection Of Alicia Keyz and Swizz Beatz officially opens to the public on Saturday (Feb. 10). Take a look at who attended the private showing below.
