Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs will see you now.

Some 17 years after the release of The Devil Wears Prada, its stars Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway celebrated with a mini-reunion while attending the Clooney Foundation for Justice's second-annual Albie Awards on Thursday. And don't worry, neither of the award-winning actresses wore cerulean.

Instead, Hathaway, who played aspiring journalist Andy, appeared all smiles as she donned a lime-green and chrome checkered floor-length dress with floral details. Streep, looking every bit like she had just strutted out of Runway magazine, opted for a sparkly black top, black trousers, and dress shoes. The pair were photographed at the event sharing a hug.

And, as it turns out, Andy wasn't the only one of Priestly's former assistants in attendance at the event. Emily Blunt, who played Emily Charlton, also walked the red carpet with her husband, John Krasinski.

Based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel of the same name, The Devil Wears Prada follows Andy as she becomes the begrudging assistant to the demanding editrix Priestly and is flung headfirst into the fashion world. The film, which was directed by David Frankel, became an instant classic.

In 2021, Frankel told EW that Rachel McAdams, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Kate Hudson, and Kirsten Dunst were all in consideration for the role of Andy before Hathaway landed the role. Streep was adamant that it had to be her.

"Meryl was eager to make the movie, and she said, 'Let me meet with her,'" he recalled. "Brokeback Mountain was about to come out. Annie had a wonderful small role in that. And Meryl watched that scene from the movie, she met with her, and called up Tom Rothman at Fox and said, 'Yeah, this girl's great, and I think we'll work well together.'"

Hathaway described accepting the gig as "the easiest yes in the world."

"I remember the moment I found out I got the part. I just ran screaming through my apartment," she recalled. "I had a bunch of friends over at the time. I just jumped up in the living room and screamed, 'I'm going to be in The Devil Wears Prada!'"
