Kentucky natives Chris Stapleton and Carly Pearce teamed up to perform their CMA-nominated duet "We Don't Fight Anymore" during The 57th Annual CMA Awards, hosted Wednesday by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.

Both Stapleton and Pearce were nominated for several awards at the show, which was broadcast live from Nashville on ABC, but only Stapleton took home hardware at this year's ceremony.

Going into the show with a career total of 34 nominations, Stapleton won his seventh Male Vocalist of the Year award. He was also nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Musical Event of the Year, where he was nominated alongside Pearce for their duet "We Don't Fight Anymore."

Accepting his CMA trophy, the Kentucky artist thanked his wife Morgan, and said he continues to be thankful to be part of the country music community.
