Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional are joining forces on a co-headlining tour of North America.
The Surviving the Truth Tour, which Consequence of Sound referred to as something that "many will see as one of the most exciting co-headlining tours of the year," launches Feb. 27 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jimmy Eat World formed in 1993 when singer-guitarist Jim Adkins and drummer Zach Lind were still seniors at Mountain View High School in Mesa, going on to become one of the most successful acts in Valley history after crashing the mainstream with "The Middle."

Another Valley artist, Sydney Sprague, whose latest album made our list of 2021's best albums made by Arizona acts, will open the entire tour, which is named for both headlining acts' most recent efforts.
Jimmy Eat World's "Surviving" was released in late 2019.
Dashboard Confessional’s first new album in four years, "All The Truth That I Can Tell," is due out Feb. 25 on Hidden Note, a day before their set at Innings Festival in Tempe, which also features Sprague.
