A recognized cereal aficionado, Jerry Seinfeld turns his attention to another breakfast treat, the Pop-Tart, in the trailer for his upcoming film, Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story. He gives the subject matter the full Oppenheimer treatment, satirically showing a countdown and a launch of the beloved confection before giving a brief history of cereal. The film, which premieres on Netflix on May 3, marks Seinfeld’s directorial debut.

The trailer shows Seinfeld, in some sort of character, enthusing about the discovery of the Pop-Tart and the ensuing fracas between Post and Kellogg’s. The best scenes in the trailer are the impression of the Quaker Oats mascot and Melissa McCarthy listing potential names for the toaster strudel: “Fruit Magoos, Heat ‘Em Up and Eat ‘Em Ups, and Oblong Nibblers.” There are also appearances by actors portraying Snap, Crackle, and Pop, Chef Boyardee, and an accent-heavy impression of John F. Kennedy. Hugh Grant even puts on a Tony the Tiger costume.

Seinfeld stars in and co-wrote the picture, which sports an impressive cast. In addition to McCarthy and Grant, the movie will feature Jim Gaffigan, Max Greenfield, Peter Dinklage, Christian Slater, Bill Burr, Dan Levy, James Marsden, Jon Hamm, Amy Schumer, and many many others.

The director discussed the show on The Tonight Show. “Barbie was made by Matell,” Seinfeld said. “Kellogg’s did not even know we were doing this. They had no idea. We took all their products. We took all their characters — Snap, Crackle, and Pop are in the movie, Tony the Tiger is in the movie … There could be some serious legal explosions. But if I were to be hauled into court on Pop-Tart charges, that would make my life.”
