See It First: Simon & Garfunkel Put ‘Wild’ to Song

The Oscars are fast upon us this month, and one of the favorite films is Wild, which has stars Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern nominated in the categories of Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively. The movie also has a soundtrack filled with songs by acclaimed artists including Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen, Wings, and Simon & Garfunkel.

Yahoo Music is excited to debut the video for the latter’s “El Condor Pasa (If I Could),” which is set to scenes from the film. The song, of course, is a classic from the S&G catalog — a Peruvian composition dating back to 1913 that the duo covered in 1970 on their landmark Bridge over Troubled Water album.
