See It First: IAMDYNAMITE Debuts ‘In The Summer’
IAMDYNAMITE is the Michigan-based duo of Chris Martin and Chris Phillips. The band’s latest album Wasa Tusa is out now via Brando Records, and showcases their indie/minimalist/rock sound.
Yahoo Music is excited to premiere the first video from the album, for lead single “In The Summer.”
The tune has a personal bent, as Chris Phillips explains: “’In The Summer’ is a reflective song. You can treat it like a summer fun anthem, or a wintertime ode to what was once a warm sun-filled amazing season. Coming from Michigan, where three months out of the year it’s nice… And nine months out of the year you’re thinking about those three months…”
IAMDYNAMITE are currently touring in support of Wasa Tusa with a series of solo shows and will next join Third Eye Blind as 2015 opening act. For a full list of dates, check here.
