Hugh Grant is putting on his stripes for Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story.

The actor, 63, stands in as the famed Frosted Flakes mascot Tony the Tiger in the upcoming comedy. First-look photos from the film show Grant in a bulky tiger suit, complete with Tony’s signature red scarf.

According to a synopsis on Netflix's Tudum, Unfrosted will delve into the competition between “sworn cereal rivals” Kellogg’s and Post to create the ultimate breakfast pastry.

The movie, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, stars an ensemble of comedians that include Seinfeld, Grant, Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer, James Marsden and Dan Levy.

Netflix also released images showing McCarthy, 53, in colorful ‘60s outfits and a bob, as well as Schumer, 42, in all red at a meeting table.

Seinfeld, 69, has been brewing the idea for over a decade, mentioning a Pop-Tart origin story in 2010 on The Late Show. He tweeted again in 2018, “Imagine the drunk on sugar-power Kellogg’s cereal culture of the mid-60’s in Battle Creek, MI. That’s a vibe I could work with.”

Now coming to fruition, the film places Grant in another out-of-the-box role. The actor recently starred in the Timothée Chalamet-led Wonka as an Oompa-Loompa.

The actor told PEOPLE, about playing an 18-inch orange man with green hair, that he is now drawn to “weirder and weirder” characters 40 years into the job as the “freak phase” of his career. It helped that he had worked with Wonka director Paul King before, on Paddington 2.

“We seem to be on the wavelength,” Grant said of King.
