See Gia Giudice’s Sweet Tribute to Nonno on the 3rd Anniversary of His Death

Gia Giudice is remembering the good times she shared with her grandfather, Giacinto Gorga, aka Nonno, on the third anniversary of his death.

On April 3, Teresa Giudice’s eldest took to her Instagram Stories to post a few images of her late grandfather and to open up about their tight-knit relationship.

“I can’t believe it’s [three] years without you today,” The Real Housewives of New Jersey kid wrote on one Story, which featured a photo of her and her grandfather. “I miss you more than you know[,] Nonno.”

Gia also posted a photo of her grandpa laughing and sitting with her grandmother, Antonia Gorga, who passed away in 2017.

“I know [you’re] safe with Nonna,” she added, along with a red heart emoji. In her third and final post about Nonno, Gia added a photo of him seemingly enjoying a vodka cocktail with a “Cheers[,] handsome” message.

Teresa and Joe Gorga’s father passed away in 2020 just a day after Teresa posted about how her father was “struggling” through some “health issues.”

Though Nonno passed away three years ago, he has still been a topic of discussion on RHONJ. Back in Season 11, Teresa, Joe, their respective families, and the rest of the RHONJ cast held a celebration of life event at Joe and Melissa Gorga’s Jersey Shore house.

More recently, Nonno’s name was brought up on Season 13 when Teresa’s now-husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, told Joe that he wears the late Gorga family patriarch’s pajamas to bed.

“I’m a good man,” Louie told his future in-laws at Rachel Fuda’s Jersey Shore brunch. “I live with your four nieces; I wear your father’s pajamas at night to make them feel safe and loving. Do you know that?”
