A sure sign of another Kentucky Derby on the horizon is the changing of the grandstand signage at Churchill Downs.

Crews worked Tuesday to swap 149 for 150 and 2023 for 2024 on the large green and gold sign affixed between the twin spires at the iconic Louisville racetrack.

The annual tradition has taken place in the weeks leading up to the Kentucky Derby every year since 1939.
