From "The View" star Meghan McCain and James Brown to, uh, the "Gold Tooth Fairy," meet the stars that inspired the "Drag Race" season 16 "Snatch Game."

Like a splash of citrus in Maggie Smith's libation, the fan-favorite Snatch Game challenge is a tasty treat of celebrity impressions each year on RuPaul's Drag Race — and season 16's packed in a wealth of queens portraying famous faces, as well as some fictional creations that still have us scratching our heads.

From the realm of the living (Meghan McCain, Patti LuPone) to the spirit world (rest in peace Amelia Earhart) and beyond (can someone please explain dear Xunami Muse's Gold Tooth Fairy?), the season 16 Snatch Game celebrities channeled cringe, chaos, and catastrophe — all in the best way possible, of course.

Dawn as Meghan McCain

A queen finally takes on the Princess of Arizona, as Dawn portrayed controversial former View cohost Meghan McCain — and got the 39-year-old daughter of John McCain's perturbed reaction faces spot on, momentarily transforming the Snatch Game panel into the Hot Topics table during her curiously short amount of screen time this week.

Morphine Love Dion as Anna Delvey

Morphine Love Dion shook the table during season 16 Snatch Game, becoming the only queen in recorded her-story to tell RuPaul that he looked "poor" — in character as famed scammer Anna Delvey, of course. Though Morphine's performance landed her in the bottom, she still pulled off some light gags as the Russian-born, German-accented conwoman whose schemes (and subsequent legal woes) led to her story's dramatization via the popular Netflix series Inventing Anna starring Julia Garner.

Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige as Trina's cousin $haquita

Rapper Trina does not have a cousin named $haquita, but we wish Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige's fictional creation existed as a living, breathing being every day from here on out. Though RuPaul suspected that Mhi'ya's timid nature would prevent her from breaking out this week, the Florida flipster performed verbal acrobatics as the outlandish character, from hilariously changing the spelling of the word "ass" to "azzz" to rocking an oversized breastplate that put Sapphira Cristál's tiny episode 1 bib to shame.

Nymphia Wind as Jane Goodall

Deep facial lines. A turtleneck. A little monkey puppet. Nymphia Wind enlisted an arsenal of dressings and props to portray Jane Goodall in what registered as perhaps the most, uh, subdued Snatch Game performance in recent memory. As the judges pointed out, Nymphia gave an accurate impersonation of the famed animal activist, but the comedy bits must've slipped and fallen on a banana peel on the way to set.

Plane Jane as Jelena Karleuša

Challenge-winning queen Plane Jane finally found a home for her acid tongue in the context of Snatch Game, as she casted Serbian shade over her season 16 sisters with quick-witted quips in pop star regalia as regional pop star Jelena Karleuša, a 45-year-old singer who has released 12 full-length albums in her homeland amid fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights in conservative Serbia.

Plasma as Patti LuPone

Plasma? Playing a Broadway legend? In this economy? Well, yes. The New York City BFA weaponizer played it safe — and into her strengths — with her take on the famed stage icon Patti LuPone, complete with an olive-garnished martini and LuPone's signature sass. Though she did miss a golden opportunity to yell at Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige's $haquita for being on a cell phone during the performance, Plasma was light, bubbly, and everything you'd expect from her at this stage of the game.

Q as Amelia Earhart

Her fellow queens clocked a bit of her acting challenge character, the Stonewall Brick, peeking through the famed airwoman's flight goggles, but Q's otherwise highly original take on Amelia Earhart soared through the Snatch Game skies with glowing reactions from the panel of judges.

Sapphira Cristál as James Brown

Part Kennedy Davenport as Little Richard, part earthly conduit for the real James Brown's ghost, but all Sapphira at all times, the Philadelphia queen's portrayal proved that "boy drag" is often the way to go when it comes to Snatch Game, with Sapphira's performance as the Godfather of Soul going gloriously off-the-rails with a brand of controlled chaos that gave this season's edition of the celebrity impersonation challenge a much-needed breath of kinetic energy with gags that, unlike Sapphira's "character shoes" hilariously clocked by RuPaul in the middle of the gig, didn't fall flat in the slightest.

Xunami Muse as the Gold Tooth Fairy

Much love to Xunami, but... uh... yeah, we don't know what this one is, either. Mama Ru was similarly perplexed, as Xunami — the drag daughter of the great Kandy Muse — was sadly sent packing for her performance as the gold-toothed beauty.
