Tickets for many movies are $4 Sunday as part of the National Cinema Day promotion.

Mid-Valley movie theaters that are participating in the promotion are Salem Cinema, Northern Lights Theatre Pub in Salem, Regal Willamette Town Center, Regal Cinnebarre Movieland, Regal Santiam and Dallas Cinema.

Movies that are included in the $4 promotion include Gran Turismo, Blue Beetle, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Retribution, Strays, the Last Voyage of the Demeter, The Meg 2, Haunted Mansion, Talk To Me and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Also showing at Salem Cinema Sunday are Jules, Have You Got It Yet?, Passages, Lakota Nation vs. United States and Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

As part of the promotion, people can donate to the Cinema Foundation, a nonprofit that helps people have careers in cinema and brings more movies to theaters.
