It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and yes we’re taking about 2023 Spotify Wrapped season. For those Spotify subscribers  (or curious Apple Music users watching all the fun from afar), Spotify Wrapped offers a deep dive into listening habits, music discoveries from the past year, and a playlist of the 100 most-played songs to paying subscribers.

Spotify Wrapped 2023 officially dropped on Wednesday, November 29th. Subscribers can view theirs by heading to the Spotify app and on the desktop website.

The 2023 Spotify Wrapped includes data on a subscriber’s favorite genres, songs, podcasts, and minutes listened. There are also several new features, including:

  • Top 5 Artists lets you see the month listening peaked for each artist

  • Video messages from more than 40,000 artists including Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, SZA, Dolly Parton, and NewJeans.

  • Integrations with Roblox, Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri.

  • Wrapped Listening Parties for top fans of a select group of artists including Ava Max, JVKE, Chelsea Cutler, Lauren Daigle, and more

When Does Spotify Wrapped Come Out?

As mentioned, Spotify’s 2023 Wrapped is available as of Wednesday, November 29th.

This lines up with past Spotify Wrapped lists, which dropped around December 1st. In 2022, the annual wrap-up landed on November 30th, while 2021 and 2020 lists arrived on December 1st and 2nd, respectively.

When Does Tracking End for Spotify Wrapped?

In previous years, Spotify has claimed that tracking for the year ends around Halloween with a cutoff near November 1st. This year, though Spotify has yet to confirm if and when tracking has ended — some users are speculating that November 15th may have been the cutoff this year, but there is no official word.
