With the first season approaching its end on Disney Plus, Marvel fans have already begun to wonder about the Secret Invasion Season 2 release date. The MCU introduced good Skrulls in Captain Marvel. But in Secret Invasion, they have turned bad under the leadership of a new Skrull leader Gravik. To acquire Earth as a home for Skrulls, Gravik plans to kill all humans. But the only one standing in his way is Nick Fury.

Since the series features so many twists and turns, it’s understandable why people think that Marvel might continue its story in season 2. But will there be a second season? Is there a Secret Invasion Season 2 release date?

No, there are no plans for Secret Invasion Season 2 after the first one ends on July 26, 2023.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion was announced as a miniseries for Disney Plus. So, it’s highly likely that we will not get a second season, and the Skrull conflicts will be resolved in season 1 itself. Another hint for that came through the trailer of The Marvels.

Spider-Man: Far From Home revealed that the S.A.B.E.R. Space Station was full of Skrulls working with Nick Fury. But in the trailer of The Marvels, Fury is back on the base, which is full of humans now. So, it’s likely that the Skrulls will be allotted a new home somewhere in the galaxy (if not on Earth) by the end of season 1, and the conflict will come to an end.

Instead, the story could continue with other future titles that the MCU has to offer, with characters like G’iah leading them from the front. Similar to how Agatha: Coven of Chaos will act as a sequel to WandaVision, The Marvels and other future projects of Disney Plus could act as sequels to Secret Invasion.
