Meghan Markle may have given up her duties, but like Princess Diana, the duchess of Sussex reformed what it meant to look and act like a member of the royal family. From fiercely standing up for women's rights to editing the pages of British Vogue to sneaking into Wimbledon wearing jeans, while still professional, Meghan carried herself in a more approachable, casual way. Notably, Meghan brought the most flawlessly chic textured waves to the monarchy.

In a Birchbox blog post from October 2014, around the time Meghan had her own curated box, she revealed to the beauty company her favorite product for keeping her hair looking fresh and full of volume.

"There's nothing like a hair flip!" she said. "When my hair is feeling a little weighted, Suanne, my hair artist on set, has me bend forward as she sprays a little Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, and then has me 'flip back hard' to give my hair a little extra bounce."

Shop: Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, $22-$46

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray is like a hair spray and dry shampoo hybrid. It's meant to build volume but doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky or stiff. According to the product description, similar to dry shampoo, it absorbs oil to leave you with "just-styled hair for days." However, like a hair spray, it's not chalky or powdery — it has an "invisible" spray.

Meghan isn't the only fan of the texturizing spray, either. On Amazon, the product has over 900 five-star reviews calling it the "best product EVER" and a "favorite all time hair product."

"THIS STUFF IS UN. REAL. When I blow my hair out and curl it I use this in place of hairspray to give my hair some texture and fullness without making it sticky. Makes it look natural and slightly messy in the best way. Not to mention it smells AMAZING. It's expensive but completely worth it. Hairspray/texturizer/dry shampoo all in one - honestly will never buy another brand again for any of the above 3 items," one Amazon reviewer wrote.

While not exactly cheap, fans of the product say the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray is worth the price. A 2.2-ounce bottle costs $22, while a larger 8.5-ounce bottle costs $46.

"I've tried way too many texture/salt/powder sprays to achieve the tousled look on my fine pixie cut hair that just did not work. Other brands either left me with dried out, gummy, sticky hair or did absolutely nothing 0 nadda! So in the throes of total desperation I paid the outrageous price for this 2 oz can!! I really didn't think it was worth all the hype until I used it. Let me just say it is worth the price even if it amounts to robbery! Oribe DTS gives a great tousled look yet leaves your hair feeling like there is nothing there!," another enthusiastic Amazon reviewer wrote.

If you just can't stomach the price, however, we've found a less expensive product that has similar results. Enter: Garnier Fructis Style Texture Tease Dry Touch Finishing Spray.

One Amazon reviewer wrote of the Garnier Fructis product: "I love this stuff! I was using Oribe texturizing spray before this (suuuuper expensive, but also works well and smell amazing) then read somewhere that this works just as well. And they were right! Makes my hair feel fuller and more texturized, all for way cheaper than most expensive salon products."
