SeaWorld is inviting all Florida teachers to the park with free admission. How to register

Florida teachers looking to expand their teachings and also get a new fun, free way to spend their weekends are in luck.

SeaWorld Orlando is offering free unlimited admission to its theme park for active and Florida-certified teachers throughout the next year.

“Today’s teachers play a crucial role in helping students learn about and appreciate the natural world and understand their role in creating healthy and sustainable animal habitats," the park said in a media release. "As a way to help continue this mission, SeaWorld Orlando is offering free admission for Florida-certified K-12 teachers to amplify their educational efforts."

Here's how to cash in on this year's offer and what you can do at the theme park.

How can teachers register for the pass?

According to SeaWorld officials, teachers can pre-register online using the ID.me website to receive the SeaWorld Florida Teacher Card eVoucher.

To take advantage of the offer, teachers will need to select the Teacher ID button in the top-right, select “Sign up” and then enter an e-mail address (personal e-mail address recommended) and a password. ID.me requires a Department of Education (DOE) number to audit eligibility for the program.

What if I teach at a private school? Can I still sign up?

Eligible private school teachers can also provide a letter from the principal on school letterhead confirming employment as a K-12 teacher along with a Florida photo ID and most recent (30 days) paystub to the SeaWorld front gate entrance.

When does the SeaWorld teacher pass expire?

Teachers can make visits to the park through Sept. 5, 2024.

Is SeaWorld's waterpark Aquatica a part of the pass?

Florida Teacher Card holders have the option to add Aquatica Orlando to their Teacher Card for $45.

Can teachers purchase guest tickets along with their passes?

For a limited time, teachers with a Florida Teacher Card can purchase up to two guest tickets to SeaWorld Orlando for $34.99 each until Oct. 6.
