Sean Hannity Encourages Viewers to ‘Call Out Fake News’ by Tweeting at Media (Video)
Fox News host Sean Hannity encouraged viewers on Tuesday night to “call out fake news right at the source” by tweeting at CNN personalities Jake Tapper and Brian Stelter.
Hannity praised White House surrogates for fighting back against the mainstream media recently and played a montage of Kellyanne Conway, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other members of the Trump administration defending the president on television.
“Finally, fighting back,” Hannity said. “Now, thanks to social media, you can too.”

He then offered a suggestion on how viewers can combat fake news, while insisting that he isn’t encouraging physical action.
“You can call out fake news right at the source,” Hannity said. “You can tell ‘Fake News’ Jake Tapper exactly what you think his interview with Anthony Scaramucci, you can do it on Twitter.”
Hannity continued: “Or you can message Brian Stelter, Humpty Dumpty, Jeff Zucker‘s stenographer, about his ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ obsession and lack of desire to be fair and balanced.”
The Fox News star then turned to MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, calling him “Liberal Joe,” and repeating a variety of insults the “Morning Joe” namesake has directed at Trump.

“If you don’t think those remarks are appropriate, just send him a tweet,” Hannity said.
Hannity said if viewers “want to take it to the next level” they should write a letter to their bosses, such as CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker or NBC News chairman Andy Lack.
“Technology is now making it possible for you to take your point of view directly to the source,” Hannity said.
Hannity recently landed in a feud with Tapper over the CNN anchor’s report regarding the conservative Media Research Center’s William F. Buckley Award for Media Excellence. Hannity claims he isn’t receiving it because of a scheduling conflict; Tapper reported that Christopher Buckley “expressed great dismay” that the award would go to the Fox News star.
