The legal back-and-forth between Sean “Diddy” Combs and Diageo has come to an end. The two entities have “resolved all disputes” in the lawsuit where the Hip-Hop mogul accused the company of creating a watermelon flavor of DeLeón Tequila without his consent, among other claims.

“Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them. Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice,” details their statement, according to Variety.

“Diageo and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns.” Any lawsuit dismissed with prejudice means a party cannot ever re-file the case.

Diddy first filed the lawsuit against the company, which owns more than 200 different liquor brands, including Don Julio, Casamigos, and Crown Royal, in May 2023. The 54-year-old claimed Diageo was negligent toward DeLeón with racist intentions and labeled CIRÔC and DeLeón as “urban brands.”

As the legal battle continued, Diageo denied all allegations and moved to cut business ties with the Harlem native, accusing him of using “false and reckless” allegations to “extract” monetary damages. Last September, Judge Joel M. Cohen rejected motions by Diageo to dismiss the case and the other to send the case to arbitration, where it would have been decided in private.

The resolution comes as Diddy faces legal battles in a different court after multiple women accused him of rape and abuse. As of December 2023, at least four women filed lawsuits against the “Last Night” performer describing horrifying experiences of sexual violence, with one victim only 17 years old at the time of an alleged assault.

Cassie Ventura, who publicly dated Diddy, filed the first lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records founder in November 2023 making allegations of a “pattern of control and abuse” including rape, drugging with ecstasy and ketamine, and forcing her to sleep with male prostitutes. The lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed amount two days after it was filed.
