EXCLUSIVE: Beau Knapp (Seven Seconds) is joining Bravo Team as a new series regular for the upcoming seventh and final season of Paramount+’s military drama SEAL Team.

More from Deadline

Knapp will play Drew Franklin, a Chief Petty Officer with a checkered history at Command whose placement on Bravo Team is a sign of their problem-child status in the eyes of the DEVGRU powers that be. A smooth talker who exploits every angle to his own advantage, Drew revels in the mystery and rumors that surround him.

Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks and Raffi Barsoumian also star.

The series is produced by CBS Studios and exec produced by Spencer Hudnut, Christopher Chulack, David Boreanaz, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly and Mark Owen.

Season 7 is slated to premiere in 2024.

Known for his standout performance in Veen Sud’s Seven Seconds on Netflix, Knapp’s work includes The Lost Symbol for Peacock and Good Lord Bird with Ethan Hawke for Showtime. On the film side, he can be seen opposite Nate Parker in American Skin and opposite Naomie Harris and Frank Grillo in Sony’s Black and Blue, as well as 2020’s Mosquito State. He’ll next be seen in films The Bikeriders alongside Tom Hardy and Michael Shannon and Road House with Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor for Amazon. He’s repped by Gersh, Luber Roklin, and attorney David Krintzman at Yorn Levine Barnes.
