Sea Hear Now festival with Foo Fighters, Weezer, more: Everything you need to know

Happy anniversary Sea Hear Now — the big music, art and surfing fest turns five years old this weekend.

Or six years old, if one counts the year that was skipped because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Some might say it's even a bit older than that as founders Danny Clinch and Tim Donnelly held mini music, art and surfing fests on the boardwalk in Asbury Park about a dozen years ago.

In its current incarnation, Sea Hear Now debuted in 2018 with Incubus and Jack Johnson headlining. Bruce Springsteen paid a visit and performed a few songs with Social Distortion that year. This year, the Foo Fighters and the Killers are headlining, with lots of top-tier talent playing Saturday, Sept. 16, and Sunday, Sept. 17.

It’s unique and quite a party.

It's another biggie this weekend, with 35,000 expected each day. Check out our everything you need to know below, compiled from information provided by the fest and our reporting.
