'Make Me Scream': Jaleel White, Lil Xan and Shoniqua Shandai Try to Stay Cool in a House of Horrors (Exclusive)

PEOPLE has the exclusive First Look at the new Halloween special from Amazon Prime Video, which features celebrity pairs attempting to keep a straight face when presented with ghouls and ghastly sights

Make Me Scream has some tricks up its sleeve — which is exactly why it's sure to be a treat for viewers.

PEOPLE can exclusively debut the trailer for the Halloween-themed Prime Video special that follows three celebrity teams — led by Family Matters' Jaleel White, Harlem star Shoniqua Shandai and rapper Lil Xan — as they make their way through a haunted house to complete challenges.

If the spooked-out stars and their teammates can keep their panic response in check as they pass through a series of "scare zones" that bring them face to face with ghouls and other beings, they'll be awarded the "Medal of Mayhem."

The special is hosted by The Cosby Show alum Tempestt Bledsoe and A Different World's Darryl M. Bell, who just happen to be real-life partners with a flair for fright.

"Each of you will face three terrifying scare zones and the more you scream, the more your score will sway," Bell, 60, says in the teaser. "Your objective is simple. Just don't scream."

"I'm here to absolutely dominate this," Xan, 27, says in a confessional, before immediately screaming thanks a parade of chainsaws, monsters behind curtains and other ghouls lurking in the shadows.

White, 46, is wise to the danger around every corner, reminding his teammate not to write the competition off as easy.

"Don't ever say that, dawg," he says. "That's when you jinx us."
