GREEN LAKE – Scott Stapp and Vanilla Ice will headline 300 Fest at The 300 Club of Green Lake Aug. 25-26.

Stapp was lead vocalist and lyricist for the rock band Creed. He and Creed bandmate Mark Tremonti won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001 as the writers of the song “With Arms Wide Open.” Stapp was also rated as the 68th-best heavy metal vocalist of all time in 2006 by Hit Parader magazine.

Outside of Creed, Stapp has also fronted the band Art of Anarchy and released three solo albums: “The Great Divide” in 2005, “Proof of Life” in 2013 and “The Space Between the Shadows” in 2013.

Vanilla Ice is an American rapper, actor and television host. His debut album, “Hooked,” was first released in 1989 and a reformatted version was released in 1990 titled “To the Extreme,” which became the fastest-selling hip hop album of all time and had his best-known hits, “Ice Ice Baby” and a cover of “Play That Funky Music.”

“Ice Ice Baby” was the first hip hop single to top the Billboard charts and has been credited with helping diversify hip hop by introducing it to a mainstream audience.

Stapp will headline Aug. 25 with DJ Galaxy and Road Trip opening. Vanilla Ice will headline Aug. 26 with The Sugarhill Gang and DJ Galaxy opening.
