Scott Foley To Star In ‘Fatal Vision’ TV Movie Based On Joe McGinniss Book For Investigation Discovery

Scandal’s Scott Foley is attached to star in Fatal Vision, a two-hour TV movie based on Joe McGinniss’ bestselling true-crime book for Investigation Discovery. The project, part of a five-movie deal with Lincoln Square Productions, is among the first for ID as the network ramps up its original movie slate.

Foley will play Army Capt. Jeffery McDonald, who was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in 1979 for the 1970 murders of his wife and two children at their Fort Bragg home. Nicolas McCarthy and Linda Berman will produce. Filming starts in December. The pic is produced by Lincoln Square Prods and ABC Studios for ID.

Foley recently wrapped production on the Netflix feature Naked, which stars Marlon Wayans and Regina Hall. He’s repped by ICM Partners, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Jason Sloane.
