Scott Eastwood Shares First Photo From Set of 'Fast 8,' Says Cast 'Couldn't Be More Welcoming'

The Fast & Furious family is together again -- this time, with some new blood.

Scott Eastwood revealed on Monday that he was joining Fast 8, playing a new character who operates under Kurt Russell. Now, the 30-year-old actor is sharing his first photo on the set in Atlanta, Georgia.

"Little behind the scenes.... cant show you too much," Eastwood writes alongside a photo with Ludacris, Tyrese and director F. Gary Gray. "Couldn't [have] been more welcoming. Really good dudes. Had a great first day. Lots of laughs."

Eastwood isn't the only new addition to the franchise. Charlize Theron has signed on to play the villain in the film, which is set to hit theaters on April 14, 2017, and Dwayne Johnson officially welcomed her with a post revealing her reaction to playing a baddie.

"Her response was classic and the reason why I love that woman," Johnson wrote. "She said, 'I'm coming to mess that s**t up!'"
