Is Scott Disick Supportive of Kourtney Kardashian's New Boyfriend, Younes?

It's been quite a few years since Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian were a couple, but that hasn't prevented Disick from being critical of the people that Kardashian has dated since their split. After all, even though they're no longer together, Kardashian is still the mother of their three children. It's remained important to Disick that any other man that comes into Kourtney and their children's lives, must adhere to three criteria. So, is Kourtney's boyfriend, Younes Bendjima, passing the test so far? Or does he still have work to do?

Kardashian's relationship with Bendjima is not the first time that the couple has dated. Shortly after the Keeping Up With the Kardashians oldest sister broke up with Disick in 2016, she met Younes.

It wouldn't take long for the couple to take their romance public, which they did in 2017. However, the relationship wouldn't last, as Kardashian called it quits due to rumors that Bendjima had gotten close with a woman during a trip to Mexico. These were not confirmed, but it was enough for the couple to split.

Disick Reveals Feelings Towards Younes After Couple's Breakup

After Kardashian's breakup with Bendjima, a source that was close to the mother of three shared with E! News that Disick was happy that the two broke up and that he was never a fan of Bendjima. Whether this was out of jealousy or care for Kardashian, we don't know.

The source did share Disick's feelings on Bendjima. "Scott is very happy Kourtney cut it off with Younes. He never liked Younes for Kourtney," they said. "He never trusted him or liked him at all." Another source shared similar sentiments revealing Disick was "not surprised to see what has happened with Younes."

Kourtney and Younes Try Again at a Romantic Relationship

Now, on a second run, after first getting together in September 2019, Kardashian and Bendjima are rekindling the romance they once had. Their reunion was first spotted in Los Angeles where they were seen holding hands. A source close to the couple shared with E! News that they believed there was still a 'romantic connection' and 'they just wanted to have fun together'.

Only a couple months later, sources confirmed to People Magazine that the two were, in fact, giving it another shot. "In the past, Kourtney was very happy dating Younes and she feels the same now,” the source revealed to People. “They took a long break because Kourtney felt that she couldn’t trust him. He is trying to convince her that she can though. "

"Not only was Younes a great boyfriend, he was also great with Kourtney’s kids,” the source continued. “They really like him. It’s never easy being a single mom and dating. And Kourtney knows this. It seems she is giving Younes another chance. And she seems very happy about it."

Younes Meeting Scott's Three Criteria

While Disick might not be particularly fond of Bendjima, he's at least willing to give him a chance to do the right thing, that is, if he also can match his other criteria. For Disick, Bendjima must respect Kourtney, their children, and himself. If he's able to fulfill those stipulations, Disick doesn't have a problem with him.

A source speaking to HollywoodLife! in December elaborated on these requirements. "Scott will always support Kourtney as long as she’s happy," they said. "As long as Younes continues respecting Kourtney, their kids, and him, then he has no issue at all." And from the looks of the current state of their relationship and how Younes treats the kids, it would seem to indicate that he's checking off those boxes in emphatic fashion.
