Scott Disick and Sofia Richie Dish on Younes and Kourtney Moving Forward with Their Relationship

In the headlines lately, Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima have been getting cozy and showing quite the bit of PDA in public.

Just recently, Younes attended the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas celebration and festivities. In attendance was Scott Disick, Kourtney's ex and father of her three children, there to spend quality time with the kids. Sofia Richie was also there, Scott's girlfriend.

Both spoke out about how they feel on Kourtney and Younes going public with their relationship and it's not quite what you would suspect.

A Seemingly Awkward Situation

Nothing that the Kardashians do seems normal, these days, especially when it comes to ex-significant others being around in the picture. This was the case, at least for Disick and Kourtney Kardashian during the latest Christmas outing. It was all good-natured, though, as Disick was there to support his three children that the two have together.

What gets awkward is that Kourtney's new rekindled romance with Younes Bendjima was on full display. Sofia Richie, Disick's girlfriend was also there. If anything could get more convoluted, Richie and Bendjima have a past. Not a romantic one, per se, but one, no doubt. In fact, they had a significant falling out not long ago, making for a very cringy situation.

Still, the four people apparently held themselves to a notable character and were mature in the moment. Both Richie and Disick were asked about whether they had an 'issue' with Kourtney and Younes going public with their relationship, among other pressing topics.

Sofia and Younes' Past

A source speaking to HollywoodLife shared some interesting tidbits on the whole outing and the dynamics between the four people.

On speaking about the Richie and Bendjima situation, they shared, "Sofia and Younes were best friends for so long and although they had a falling out several years ago, there’s really no hard feelings between them. So much time has passed since then and it’s water under the bridge at this point."

The falling out between the two stemmed from an incident in 2017 that ultimately led each of them to unfollow the other's Instagram page. It seems Richie and Bendjima are over it and moving on to bigger and better things. The same could be said for Disick and Kardashian.

No Drama between Scott and Kourtney

The same source recounted how Disick handled being at the party with Younes also there. "Scott focused all his attention on Sofia [at the party], he really couldn’t take his eyes off her and Younes being at the party didn’t concern him at all," the shared.

"Scott will always support Kourtney as long as she’s happy. As long as Younes continues respecting Kourtney, their kids [Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, Reign, 5], and him, then he has no issue at all. The party was a night to celebrate the holidays and it really couldn’t have turned out any better."

Apparently, all the drama was kept from interfering with the festivities, a rare occurrence within the Kardashian-Jenner family and their extravagant outings.

Green Light for Younes and Kourtney

Another source also speaking with HollwoodLife confirmed the pleasantries between the two couples. "There was no issue at all during the night with any of the couples and family, they left all their issues at the door," they revealed.

"Everyone was in the holiday mood and when it came to Scott and Sofia and Kourtney and Younes all getting along, it wasn’t a problem. Everyone was in great spirits, joking around and sometimes they weren’t even hanging out with each other. It was really a pleasant time, no one brought any issues to the night. It was very simple, fun and happy."

Disick and Richie also revealed that they have no problem whatsoever with Bendjima and Kourtney taking their relationship public.

While a drama-free event might be good for the family and close ones, it certainly isn't good for television. We'll have to wait and see in 2020 if things still stay kosher between the couples.
