G-Eazy will be crowned the first homecoming king for Billboard and 1800 Tequila‘s upcoming, three-part concert series called “Back To The Block,” which will feature today’s biggest hip-hop acts returning to their hometown for intimate shows.

The Bay Area rep, whose sophomore studio effort When It’s Dark Out hit No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart last December, will return to his stomping grounds in Oakland, Calif. on Monday (May 2) for an one-of-a-kind concert.
