Scoop, there it is: A list of Beaver Valley ice cream destinations with hours & details

No wonder we all scream for ice cream: It's a delicious treat.

See how many of these Beaver Valley ice cream shops you can visit this summer, conveniently listed here in one fell scoop.

Ice Cream Therapy

400 Merchant St., Ambridge

The Scoop: Located across from Altered Genius Brewing, this walk-up ice cream stand is beloved for its towering ice cream cones. Their "small" would pass for a large at some places. Customers now have the option of ordering through Door Dash or Grub Hub. There are over 60 flavors of milkshakes available, with some of the most popular lavender, salted caramel, tiramisu, bourbon caramel, strawberry cheesecake, and banana. There's also a large variety of mix-ins, parfaits, floats, and boba slush with plans to add oat milk ice cream soon! Besides ice cream, a food truck, Street Heat, is open daily until 9 p.m. with plans to bring in other food trucks. The third generation-owned Ice Cream Therapy has popular favorites, and tries creative concoctions, like the just-introduced Cotton Candy Float. They're also known for their Boston Shake, which is a milkshake and a sundae on top.

Katie's Korner

The menu includes milkshakes, sundaes and hot apple dumplings. The business grew out of a century-old house to 10 franchise locations and a manufacturing plant in Hubbard, Ohio. The owners say, "Only a handful of ice cream manufacturers can tout 'Super-Premium' and Katie's Korner is one of them." Super-Premium is not just a catchy marketing term, it is an FDA-regulated industry designation only used by manufacturers whose ice cream contains 14-16% butterfat and minimum overrun (the air whipped in). Pecan balls, ice cream sandwiches and sundaes are all available.
