School Canceled in Albany, New York, as Snow Piles Up

All City School District of Albany schools were closed as bands of snow brought snowfall rates of up to one inch per hour to the region on Monday, January 23, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS issued a winter storm warning, forecasted snow accumulations of up to six inches in the area, and urged travelers to exercise caution.
