Scheana Shay's San Diego Home "Flooded Yet Again": "What a Mess"

With her May 7 birthday followed by Mother's Day on May 8, Scheana Shay had a lot to celebrate over the weekend. However, when the Vanderpump Rules cast member returned from a trip to Atlanta, her special few days concluded in a very unexpected way.

"We got back from Atlanta and our house flooded yet again," Scheana said in a May 8 Instagram Story video. "So Summer and I are chillin' on the beach, and Brock is cleaning." After going inside their beachfront San Diego home, Scheana shared a look at the aftermath from the flood. "Floors are drying," she said. "What a mess." In her caption of the video, she quipped, "Welcome home. Happy bday/Mother's Day!"

In July 2020, Scheana revealed that she and Brock had purchased the home. "I am so excited to announce we just got approved for our dream beach house in San Diego," she said at the time. "I'm moving into San Diego, and I'm so excited."

While they ended up moving back to Los Angeles in 2021 (get a tour of their apartment in the video above), Scheana and Brock still spend plenty of time at their property in San Diego — especially in the last few months. On a January episode of Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, Scheana revealed that she and Brock were "in the process of moving back down to San Diego for like the winter and spring." Because their L.A. apartment would be empty, Scheana invited Raquel Leviss to live there in the meantime and declared, "enjoy it for us."
