‘Scandal’ Recap: Huck Finds Himself in Deep Trouble

After two weeks of stressful anticipation, Scandal fans finally found out what happened to Huck after he was shot. Huck was stuck in the trunk of a car as Meg slowly pushed the car over the edge of a cliff. The car splashed down into a lake, leaving Huck struggling to get out.

With three bullet holes in his body, he had to go to a safe place in his mind to find the strength to escape. So he found himself back in the office, soaking wet, with the full team of gladiators giving him a pep talk. Even Papa Pope showed up to help get his soldier home. With all of their support, Huck found the strength (and headrest) to break the window and swim to dry land.

Once Huck was out of immediate danger, the people who put him there found themselves in immediate danger. Abby came to Olivia, looking for forgiveness, but what she got was a few slaps to the face. She got off easy compared to Meg, who found herself on the wrong side of Quinn’s anger. While torturing Meg to get information, Quinn lost control and slit her throat.

The gladiators were at an all-time low with their only suspect dead on the floor. But after an inspirational speech from Olivia, they got to business finding Huck, dead or alive. Luckily, they found him alive — barely. And everyone held their breath at the hospital until we finally saw Huck take a breath on his own.
