The program features a mix of carols, holiday songs and holiday-related classical works, including “Joy to the World,” “'Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “Twelve Days of Christmas,” “Sleigh Ride,” Herbert’s “Toyland” and “March of Toys,” Rimsky-Korsakov’s Christmas Eve Polonaise, Coleridge-Taylor’s Christmas Overture, and excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker,” among other works.
Bring a non-perishable food item or new teddy bear to the “Home for the Holidays” to donate to local charities and receive a free ticket to the SBSO’s “Discover Mahler’s Symphony No. 5” concert on Feb. 10.
