The “My Type” rapper arrived at Franklin Canyon Park to see the German automotive brand debut the 2025 design of their G-Class model. After emerging from water, the new all-electric G 580 made its debut at the event with a light and smoke production. Other stars were in attendance, including Selma Blair, Kendall Jenner and Travis Scott, who performed during the exclusive event.
Earlier this month, Saweetie was seen attending Neon Carnival wearing white platform sandals. She has been favoring the pair lately for on-stage performances. The day before, she took the stage at Geojam Jungle wearing the same peep-toe heels. She made her last red carpet appearance last month when she attended the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party wearing a pair of metallic silver platform sandals.
About The Shoes
Gravitating back to the shiny finish, Saweetie paired a lace-trimmed dress with silver sandals for the occasion. The metallic heels featured a thing strap that decorated the almond toe and wrapped around the ankle. The back of the set was hidden from view but she was most likely supported by a stiletto heel that was about 4 inches tall.
Many celebrities have been embracing the metallic shoe trend recently like Rachel McAdams, Mickey Guyton and Melissa Barrera, who was wearing a pair, hailing from Christian Louboutin, to the premiere of her new film “Abigail” last week.
Metallic Shoe Trend
Last summer, metallic shoes, especially in gold and silver tones, increased in popularity. The style has continued to gain a consistent spot in designer’s collections since then. Several high-end labels like Bottega Veneta, Prada and Manolo Blahnik have included the silhouettes in their runway shoes over the past couple months.
Popular metallic heeled styles include the $1,150 Valentino Garavani metallic leather stiletto pumps and the Jimmy Choo Ixia 95 Pointed-Toe Pumps, priced at $683.
