Saweetie, Will Packer Added To 2023 AfroTech Conference Roster

Earlier this month, the exciting roster for the 2023 AfroTech Conference was revealed. Now, the lineup also includes Saweetie and Will Packer.

The “Tap In” rapper will hit the stage, along with special performers including headliner, Rick Ross, DJ Spinderella, Soulection’s Joe Kay, Andre Power, Jadaboo, Riders Against The Storm, DJ Hunnybee, Jasmine Solano, and Jae Murphy — and an exclusive afterparty performance by Jadakiss.

Additionally, the Emmy-nominated TV and film producer will also join AfroTech’s esteemed list of speakers including award-winning actress, producer, and writer Issa Rae, culture-shifting music producer and artist, Timbaland, rapper and beatboxer, Doug E. Fresh, and U.S Representative Maxine Waters. TIME CMO Sade Muhammad and REVOLT CEO Detavio Samuels will also take the stage for a discussion.

Excitingly, the AfroTech Conference isn’t just about music; it’s a gathering of some of the most influential tech companies and Black professionals shaping recruiting, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in America’s largest corporations. Attendees will get to hear from top executives in companies like Netflix, YouTube, Salesforce, Google Play, Adobe, Meta, AT&T, Accenture, and many more as they share their insights and visions for the future.

Taking place from Nov. 1-5 in Austin, TX, the event will aim to “connect thousands of Black professionals with inclusive tech companies and innovators, dedicated to shaping DEI initiatives at some of America’s most impactful corporations.”
