The Saw franchise is cutting deeper into the double digits.

On Monday, Lionsgate confirmed that an 11th Saw movie is in the works, set to be released Sept. 27, 2024. "The game continues," read a tagline on the official Instagram page.

No further details about plot, cast or filmmakers was shared.

The sequel news comes after Saw X debuted in theaters in September, earning the best reviews of any installment in the gory horror series. Per Rotten Tomatoes, which aggregates positive and negative reviews from critics, the 10th film holds an 80% score, while the next highest is the 2004 original, with 50%.

Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith reprised their roles as John Kramer (aka Jigsaw) and Amanda, respectively, for Saw X.

Director Kevin Greutert, who began with the franchise as an editor for the first entry, told PEOPLE of seeing Bell and Smith working together again, "Everybody was really thrilled to be back together. Tobin, Shawnee — and maybe others — it was really special for everyone. It was a reunion, and everybody loved being back."

After 20 years of Saw films, producer Oren Koules explained what keeps audiences coming back for more: "For the fans, we try to be consistent. We try to give them a two-hour escape to whatever they get out of the movies. ... There's gotta be a little nervous humor. We tried not to take it so seriously."
