The Latest Streaming Service

There are so many current and upcoming streaming services that people will basically have to foot similar bill to cable if they're going to get all of the shows that they want.

NBC announced on Tuesday that its upcoming streaming service will be called Peacock and it will be available starting in April 2020.

A 'Saved By The Bell' Sequel

One of the new shows that will be available on Peacock will be a Saved By The Bell sequel, and original stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley are set to reprise their roles. Other actors, including Mark-Paul Gosselaar, are in talks to potentially return. The official synopsis is as follows:

"The new straight-to-series comedy explores what happens when California Gov. Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools and proposes the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the over-privileged Bayside kids a much-needed and hilarious dose of reality."

California. Governor. Zack. Morris. Did you just black out? Because I just blacked out.

Other Favorites Will Be Available Too

This Saved By The Bell sequel isn't the only thing that makes Peacock a major player. Popular shows like The Office, Parks and Recreation, Battlestar Galactica, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Downton Abbey will also be available to stream in their entirety. Time to make room in your entertainment budget, people.
