The Saved by the Bell revival has been renewed for a 10-episode second season at Peacock, and, like Jessie Spano, we're so excited!

The comedy series is based on the '90s hit of the same name following students at Bayside High, with the new version taking place in current day Los Angeles. The new class brings together Bayside's typical privileged students and newcomers from an underprivileged high school that was shut down by Governor Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar).

"I'm thrilled that Saved by the Bell has been renewed. I've been blown away by all the love for the show and can't wait to go back and make more episodes,"said series executive producer and writer Tracey Wigfield in a statement. "Hopefully we stay on Peacock for many more seasons, and then in 30 years, somebody does a reboot of our reboot and invents the threeboot."

The announcement from NBCUniversal's streaming service did not announce which members of the cast would be returning. Much of the original cast appeared in the revival, including Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley-Lauren, Mario Lopez, and Lark Voorhies.

Dustin Diamond, who portrayed Screech Powers in the original, did not appear in the new iterations. His character was mentioned in the revival, however, with the explanation that Screech and his robot Kevin are now living on the International Space Station.

Diamond is currently hospitalized in Florida where he's undergoing treatment for stage 4 cancer. A rep from his team confirmed to EW that Diamond could appear in a future season of Saved by the Bell. He said, "They've been talking, so we're keeping our fingers crossed."

Members of the diverse new cast includes Haskiri Velazquez, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Dexter Darden, Belmont Camelli, Mitchell Hoog, and Josie Totah.
