With Savannah's reputation for being one of the most haunted city's in America, it seems like every day is Halloween in Savannah. Still, the city knows how to throw a Dead Man's Party to amp up the creepiness. Amid all the trunk-or-treats, costume parties and bar crawls that occur this time of year, our editors gathered some spooktacular (primarily) adults-only events to enjoy this week and into the next.

Oct. 27

Spooktober at Bar by Fleeting, The Thompson, 201 Port St.

6 to 7 p.m., Magic + Martinis

Magician Steve Rossignol, a member of the invite-only Magic Castle in Los Angeles, will employ sleight of hand, mentalism, and distraction while you sip martinis and peruse the Spooky Library, curated by E. Shaver Bookseller. Return on Friday for "Toasted Tarot" night and receive a complimentary tarot and charm reading. If you want more fortune, Prosecco and Palm Readings will occur 6 to 7 p.m., Oct. 28.

Rocky Horror Picture Show Screen with Coastal Heritage Society

7 p.m., Savannah History Museum, 303 MLK Jr. Blvd., $35, shops.chsgeorgia.org

This 21-and-older event welcomes costumes and interacting with this cult classic starring Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick and Tim Curry. Price of admission includes food from Latin Chicks. Alcohol will be available to purchase on site.

Juliette Gordon Low Birthday Party

10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, 10 E. Oglethorpe Ave., to make a reservation, book online at here using code “BDAY.”

The founder of the Girl Scouts of America was born on Halloween 163 years ago at the stately home on the corner of Oglethorpe Avenue and Bull Street. In honor of the anniversary of her birth, the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum will offer $3 tours all day for Savannah residents and members of the local Girl Scouts council. So, come by, grab a cupcake and support the Over the Moon Diaper and Period Supply Bank at their service project station.

Dinner and a Cemetery Tour

As part of the 5 Nights of Halloween menu of events, Shannon Scott leads a tour of Bonaventure Cemetery beneath the Hunter's Blood Full Moon that ends with a private dinner at Erica Davis Lowcountry.

4th annual Witches Dance Party at Forsyth Park

Described as "a flash mob to scare the dead and invigorate the living," witches and warlocks of all ages ― and those with four legs ― are invited to bring their brooms to shimmy and shake while communing with nature.

Dark Pumpkin Spice Candlemaking and Painting

BYOB and paint a ghoulish still life with your gal pals. Come a half hour early to make a natural scented soy candle for the holidays.

Nov. 1

Savannah Tequila Co. Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead Dinner

Presented as part of the Catadores Club Tequila Dinner Series and in partnership with Hornitos Tequila, this special tasting dinner pairs traditional cuisine with an immersive cocktail experience that honors the Mexican holiday that celebrates the spirits and souls of loved ones who have passed on.
