Savannah Chrisley Vows to 'Cut' Unhealthy Ties, Accuses Sister Lindsie of 'Constant Lies and Victim Mentality'

Savannah Chrisley exclusively opens up to PEOPLE about her rift with big sister Lindsie Chrisley, saying she doesn't "have room for people that don't want to show up and show up in a healthy manner"

Savannah Chrisley is making a lot of tough choices when it comes to her family ties.

The Chrisley Knows Best alum, 26, has endured a lot in recent months. She's currently caring for brother Grayson, 17, and niece Chloe, 10, as her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley remain in prison for tax evasion and fraud. She recently tested her strength and endurance as part of the season 2 cast of Fox's Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. And her ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles died in a motorcycle accident last month.

Amid all that, Savannah found herself publicly navigating a private rift with big sister Lindsie Chrisley. The pair don't currently follow each other on social media whlie they're not speaking in real life.

"It is very interesting," Savannah tells PEOPLE exclusively of the fallout. "I don't do well with constant lies and victim mentality, so I'm good."

In aiming to keep her peace, Savannah does not see a future reconciliation as a possibility at this time.

"I have realized that as an adult, it's my responsibility to have healthy relationships and cut out unhealthy ones," she continues. "And especially now with the two kids, it's my job to protect them emotionally, physically, psychologically and I just don't have room for people that don't want to show up and show up in a healthy manner."

Savannah — who withdrew from Special Forces during Monday's episode — is focused on doing what makes her happiest, especially after wrapping the Fox series, which was "tough emotionally" to do since she was away from her Grayson and Chloe during a critical time for her family.

"We have experienced so much loss in the last year. And not having mom and dad home, we've created our own little safe place, and we are what each other turns to," she says. "When I was there, I got to a point where I wasn't prepared for being away from them."

Although prioritizing her happiness is "definitely not easy," she is still "grateful" for the journey.

"It's a challenge, but at the same time, the kids and I get to learn and grow together. For that, I'm grateful and I have made it a point to make sure everyone is in therapy. We're doing things to better our lives every single day, cut out the negativity and just try to love each other," she shares. "I have great friends in my life and great people that have just shown up for me. They're like, 'Savannah, you're always showing up for other people, let us show up for you.' And I've allowed that to happen, and I'm just so grateful for the people that I do have that show up."
