Savannah Chrisley Says She Felt 'Hopeful' While Getting Ready to Attend Parents' Oral Arguments Session

Attorneys for Todd and Julie Chrisley presented their case in front of a judge on April 19 following their conviction for bank fraud and tax evasion

Savannah Chrisley was optimistic ahead of her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley’s oral arguments.

While getting glammed up for the hearing, Savannah, 26, posted to her Instagram Stories, sharing her positive outlook on her parents’ appeal process.

"All right, y'all. We are an hour and 20 minutes away and I'm feeling hopeful and prayerful," she began.

At the early morning hearing on April 19, attorneys argued Todd and Julie’s case in front of a judge, which Savannah previously indicated would bring the family “one step closer to getting mom and dad home.”

Savannah asked her supporters in the new Instagram Stories upload to “say all the prayers,” as “there are never enough prayers that can be said.”

The former Chrisley Knows Best star turned the camera over to hairstylist Tyler Bishop to ask how he was feeling.

“I’m hopeful. I’m confident. We’re surrounding ourselves with all of our loved ones today. We’re gonna walk in there strong and walk out vindicated,” Bishop answered.

“Exactly what Tyler said,” Savannah affirmed. “We’re speaking it into existence. I’m just so grateful for good friends and loved ones and people who surround me. Let’s go win this.”

Her good spirits continued with another video on her Stories of boyfriend Robert Shiver teaching her younger brother Grayson, 17, how to put on a tie.

“Well, you’re not paying attention,” she quipped.

Before leaving for the courtroom, the reality star snapped a quick mirror selfie wearing a peach pantsuit and sporting beachy waves in her hair.

Earlier in the day, Savannah appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the upcoming hearing.

Recalling her parents’ emotional goodbye, she said, "I just watched them stand at their bedroom, just hugging and kissing and not knowing at this point. You just hear 12 and 7. Twelve years, 7 years — that’s a long time to be away from someone."

Of her younger siblings Chloe, 11, and Grayson, the Unlocked podcast host told GMA that both attended therapy every week and “have to grow up a lot faster.”

“I would rather help teach them what’s going on in the right way than have the world interject and maybe teach them something that isn’t factual,” added Savannah, who took over as Grayson and Chloe’s primary guardian.

Todd and Julie were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison in November 2022 after being found guilty of fraud and tax evasion. However, the pair have continued to deny all charges.

Although the couple began the appeal process to reverse their imprisonment, Todd and Julie still reported to prison in January 2023.
