"Watching her grow has been the biggest blessing of my life," she wrote. "She has QUITE the personality! I wish I had her humor. I wish I had her carefree spirit. I wish I had her heart. She is everything that I hope to be one day!" The Unlocked podcast host also praised the preteen for being someone she learned from.

"There is not a day goes by to where she doesn't reach me something new. Because of her… we are all better people! I love you sweet girl! KEEP SHINING! NEVER GIVE UP! And ALWAYS KNOW… I AM HERE," she added.

Chrisley took over as the primary guardian of Chloe and her brother Grayson, after a federal judge sentenced her father, Todd, 54, and mother, Julie, 50, to a combined 19 years in prison for tax fraud in November 2022.

Being that the couple began their prison sentences in January, Chrisley added that the day was "bittersweet" for both of them.

"We started off the morning at 6am at the Pancake Pantry (Chloe’s favorite) and she said, 'The only thing that would make this better is if mom and dad were here… I can’t wait until I’m 13 or 14 because maybe mom will at least be home.' What a freaking dagger that was… today is so bittersweet… but I have to remember that God has a bigger plan in store for us all," she wrote.

Since taking over as primary guardian, Chrisley has shared glimpses of their life on social media and her podcast. In an Instagram post in July, Chrisley opened up about the realities of being a "bonus parent."

"I'm not their mom. I'm not their dad. I'm their sister and I get to love and guide them through life. Being a bonus parent is TOUGH...no one could ever add up to their parents," she wrote.
